Lighthouse / Napa Valley 2010 trip

Grab your camera and prepare for new adventure that includes Lighthouses and Lots of Wine.

Wine you say, I will be there. This trip will take us up the California Coast and then into Napa Valley.

Please consider joining us as we visit Point Pinos Lighthouse, Pigeon Point Lighthouse and Point Bonita Lighthouse.
Of course along the way we will spend time in the St Helena area and ride the famous Napa Valley Wine Train.
We will be riding in the Dome Car Saturday night which will include dinner.

This is included in the price a $129.00 value. Our activities, besides all the scenery and fun, will include many famous
wineries to photograph and taste their goods. So if all of this sounds good, mark your calendars now for
August 26-30, 2010
and send in your $150.00 deposit.
The trip will be limited to the first 38 people.

When:              August 26-30, 2010.  We need your deposits as soon as possible!  Space is limited to the first 38 people.

 Cost:                $750.00 per person. 

This will include your transportation by Bus (and many goodies on board to eat and drink), lodging for four nights, some
organized tasting, dinner on the Napa Valley Wine Train and entrance into Mission Santa Ynez. 
The Bus will have room for coolers and will have video monitors to watch movies as we travel.
The bus is also equipped with a nice restroom.  Meals are the responsibility of each individual, other than Saturday night.

Approximate Itinerary:

Thursday:        
Depart at 7am and head directly to Monterey Area. We will be stopping at the Seal Colony for pictures and we will attempt to shoot pictures of Piedras Blancas Lighthouse from the road. Then when we arrive in Pacific Grove we will shoot late afternoon pictures at Point Pinos Lighthouse. Our nights stay will be at the Lighthouse Lodge just across the street from Point Pinos. This may allow for early morning pictures of the Lighthouse.

Friday:             
Depart early as we are planning to visit Pigeon Point Lighthouse in the morning and then head towards Napa Valley to visit a few wineries. Our nights stay will be at the Holiday Inn Express in Fairfield.

Saturday:         
Depart at 10:00am to tour the Saint Helena area. We will visit the most beautiful and fun wineries. The evenings event will be a ride on the Napa Valley Wine Train, riding in the dome car and enjoying dinner with our group.        Our nights stay will be at the same Holiday Inn Express in Fairfield.

Sunday:           
8:30 am Departure to see Point Bonita Lighthouse. Then we start our travel back towards Paseo Robles to visit Tobin James Winery (Country Western Winery). Our nights stay will be at the famous Anderson's Split Pea Soup hotel in Buellton.

Monday:
9:00am Depart to see Santa Ynez Mission and visit Fess Parker's Winery. Then we pack it up and head for home.
