(not sure how to respond to an individual message)
I looked around some. OSN doesn't offer anything on their site as far as feet. I guess I could call them, but it's very often difficult to get a part that they don't typically offer.
Sampson seems to have high end stuff that costs wayyy more than it's worth (if it would even work).
Looks like buying a new tripod is the cheapest solution. I HATE to do that when I have a perfectly good tripod or three.
I am looking for a part. I have three tripods and each one has a problem. One I cannot find, the other is old and the last is missing a foot.
I need an older style quick release for the oldest tripod. The tripod does not have a built in quick release. The quick release needs to attach to a flat platform.
I actually have HALF of one of these mounts, but the other half is on a tripod that I cannot find at the moment.
Alternatively, I need the rubber foot for a rather cheap tripod (OSN?) MX 2000, which is a rather cheap tripod but it seems OK. It has levels on it and I actually do have the quick release for it.
This is a link to a very short review of the Lens Baby Composer. This is a selective focus device that some people find useful for giving their images a different look. I'll bring one to class on Feb. 3, which is the always popular "Toy Night". Note: The review is of the Nikon version, but the only difference between it and Canon is the mount.
