Digital Scrapbooking

Have you ever wanted to do something “more” with your photographs? Something unique? Would you like to combine your scrapbooking hobby with your digital photography? How would you like the coffee table book in your living room to be one published by you, with your work in it? Looking for a special gift that will be unlike anything else that person will receive?
All of these things, and more, are fun and easy to do. They are all things you can learn to do in our upcoming Digital ScrapBooking Classes, to be held at The Barn.
We are scheduling 3 classes for now, with more to come.
The class will include basic instruction on creating collages, pages for books or various ways to enhance your photographs in unique ways. This will be a hands on class with you working step by step through the process.
Once we’ve covered the basics, we will answer questions and look at customizing your pictures. We will also go through the basics of ordering online books, with, again, hands on instruction.
The class will be 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM and the cost will be $65.00. The class will include a sampling of papers and elements, covering various styles, to work with, as well as the software, if needed. ( The software does not work on Mac. Unfortunately, I do not have software for MAC, but can recommend a good program to acquire)
We will work on generic projects to learn the basics, then you will want to bring some of your own work to practice with.
If you are unable to make the dates in question, private classes or smaller groups upon request, can be arranged, in some cases, at your location.
For an additional charge, to be determined, Sue is available for individual consulting on creating and ordering a specific book or project. The charge will be based on the scope of the project and the time involved.

Some things you can do with the pages you'll learn to make in this class:
Make your own greeting cards: Birthday, Christmas, wedding, etc.
Learn how to make your own business cards, wedding invitations, birth announcements, flyers, baseball cards, new address, CD covers, CD Disc prints, etc.
Do things that are unique and one of a kind! Have people asking, "how did they do that?"
